RETURN MATERIALS AUTHORIZATION
POLICY
Please be advised of the following changes
are effective as of January 1, 2002. These policies reflect the return and repair
of Liquid Controls Sponsler equipment:
1. Shipments arriving at Liquid
Controls Sponsler without a valid RMA#
clearly marked on the outside of the box will be refused. NO EXCEPTIONS!
2. A purchase order number or credit card will be required
before an RMA# will be issued.
3. Sponsler evaluation of the equipment will determine
warranty.
4. No flowmeter evaluation will be started without a
completed clean sheet.
5. For items appearing to have no discrepancies, an
evaluation charge will be assessed as follows:
a) $75.00 for each flowmeter (not covered by warranty)
b) $75.00 for each electronic device requiring less than 1.5 hrs
of evaluation time (not covered by warranty)
NOTE:
Electronics units that require more than 1.5 hrs to evaluate will be charged
$75.00 plus $50/hr. Should the evaluation charge reach 2/3s the cost of a new unit,
further evaluation will stop and the customer will be notified with findings.
6. All repairs will be costed and forwarded to
the customer for approval of charges prior to final repair.
7. For FLOWMETERS, in the event replacement part charges
exceed the cost of an internal kit, we will replace the internals. This
kit includes calibration.
8. Standard turnaround for RMAs will be 7 business days ARO with the exception of:
a) Customer expedite (charges may apply, consult factory)
b) Viscosity calibration required for flowmeter
c) Manufacturer evaluation required for electronic device
d) Returns missing required information for repair completion
(addresses, phone #, fax, complete
description of problem, etc.)
9. Completed repairs will be returned UPS
ground unless otherwise specified by the customer.
