Repeatability is defined as the ability of a PRECISION TURBINE FLOWMETER
to reproduce its output indefinitely under constant operating conditions at any point over
its specified operating range. Repeatability of a properly applicated EFR design PRECISION
TURBINE FLOWMETER is near perfect within linear range. Repeatability specification for the
device over the linear range is +/-.05% with reduced range repeatability up to +/-.02%.
Repeatability can be achieved in many cases outside linear ranges and should be separated
from accuracy in the users thinking. Outside the linear measurement range it is
possible to use the PTF with electronic linearization for repeatable process measurement.
